Twitter makes embedded tweets more detailed; shows retweet and favourite counts

New Delhi: Tweaking its embedded tweet feature, Twitter has redesigned the embedded tweet boxes, thereby them more engaging and easier to read.

Embedded Tweets will now display photos, videos, article summaries and other content shared in a Tweet, just like we see on Twitter.com. It will also show retweet and favorite counts, said Brian Ellin, Product Manager, Twitter, in a blog post, adding, embedded tweets will now load faster.

Besdies new features, Twitter has now made it simpler to embed a tweet on a website. Users can now click on the "more" button in any tweet, and then select "Embed this Tweet" that provides embed code. This new way of embedding a tweet reduces the amount of steps required to embed a tweet.

Embedded Tweets will now display photos, videos, article summaries and other content shared in a Tweet, just like we see on Twitter.com.
