New Delhi: Two people travelling in a Wagon R were burnt to death after their car and a motorcycle collided with a dumper on Brijwasan road in South West Delhi, late on Friday night.
The impact of the collision was such that the car instantly caught fire, killing its 2 occupants on the spot.
The 2 others travelling on the motorcycle were injured and have been taken to DDU Hospital.
Police officials say that street lighting in the area is adequate and it seems that over speeding may have been the cause of this fatal accident.
The police is trying to verify the identity of the victims as of now.
In a similar case, a motorcyclist had died earlier this year in these roads when he hit an unmanned divider and succumbed to his injuries.
The incident had created quite a stir in the responsibilities of the MCD workers.
