Nabha, (Punjab): Two Khalistan Liberation Force ( KLF) militants who were planning a major strike in Punjab were on Sunday arrested along with eight kilogram explosives and fire arms, police said.
Both belong to the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), a terrorist organisation in Punjab, and were planning a major strike in the state, Inspector General of Police P S Gill said
here.
The duo was arrested from Nabha town near Patiala district.
About eight kilogram explosives and 40 gelatin sticks were seized from their possession. Two pistols and some ammunition were also recovered from them, he said.
Further investigation was on, he added.
