U Me Aur Hum, Ajay and Kajol speak out

New Delhi: Ajay and Kajol Devgan return to the big screen together after a long gap of eight years with U Me Aur Hum. In a candid interview with CNN-IBN's Sushant Mehta the couple discuss Kajol's temper, Ajay's dance movies and parenting.

Sushant Mehta: Ajay and Kajol Devgan , well what can I say about them they are brilliant actors and mega stars Ajay tell me how was it directing your wife, I've heard she has a little bit of a temper?

Ajay Devgan: Well I don't think she has a temper at all.

Kajol: Well, I do think I have a little bit of a temper, but I think I am more impatient.

Ajay Devgan: She is very easy to direct, as she understands what the director want. One doesn't need to work a lot on her, but only needs to guide her right.

Kajol: He's very easy as a director, in the sense that he gave me all the space and freedom to do what I wanted.

Ajay Devgan: She was very involved with the project and she didn't say anything, may be because she is also the producer of the film.

Kajol: Well it was an absolute delight.

Sushant Mehta: Ajay not known for his dance moves, and they've made him dance to salsa in the film.

Kajol: Not they, he himself danced to the salsa , since he is the director of the film.

Ajay Devgan: Well I was the director, so I only approved the steps that I would be comfortable with.

Kajol: And I knew whatever I do I'll be better than him.

Ajay Devgan: But I think I've managed pretty well.

Kajol: Eventually when we shot the song he was better at it than me.

Sushant Mehta: Also about parenting, you have a daughter so who's fan is she, mummy's or dady's?

Kajol: I don't think she is a fan, as she doesn't watch any of our movies.

Ajay Devgan: Well, she only five, so we don't encourage her watching too many movies as she gets upset if she sees I'm hurt or crying in a film. She's more addicted to cartoons.
