Mumbai: Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray, who underwent angioplasty at a suburban hospital on Friday, is likely to be discharged on Monday once the doctors tending to him take call on his health, sources said on Sunday night.
"The doctors will tomorrow check his (Uddhav's) medical parameters and will take a decision on his discharge," they said.
Uddhav underwent angioplasty at Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra on Friday for removal of blockages in his arteries.

It was widely reported that 52-year-old Sena leader will be discharged on Sunday. "He will be discharged tomorrow. However, we do not know why he is asked to be in the hospital for one more day," the sources said.
Meanwhile, a text message to Uddhav's personal secretary Milind Narvekar about the discharge elicited no response.
