For those students who are able to avail higher education, it is a dream come true, said chancellor of the SRM Group of Institutions T R Pachamuthu. He was speaking at inaugural function of the first year B Tech and B Arch programmes on the Ramapuram campus recently.
Students must be confident of overcoming the challenges through hard and planned work, he said. While colleges provide education and create an amicable atmosphere for learning, students must concentrate in academics, he added. All-round development is also required for success, he stressed.
Chairman of Ramapuram and Trichy campuses R Shivakumar said that the university would sternly look into ragging. SRM University Registrar N Sethuraman and Director (E&T) C Muthamizhchelvan were also present.
