New Delhi: Samsung is highly expected to launch the Galaxy S III smartphone in India in the first week of June at prices starting at about Rs 35,000.
"The Galaxy S III will be launched in India in June," said Samsung's spokesperson, adding, "it will be launched very soon in India after its debut in Europe on May 29." However, the company has not yet revealed any price details, but it is expected to be available for around Rs 35,000.
The Galaxy S III has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and zero shutter lag and a 1.9 megapixel front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S III runs Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, operating system. The new Galaxy is powered by Samsung's quad-core microprocessor.
