New Delhi: Delhi's opening batsman Unmukt Chand has been drafted in as the 16th member of the North Zone side for the Deodhar Trophy inter-zonal limited overs tournament.
The U-19 World Cup winning captain wasn't a part of the original 15-member squad led by Gautam Gambhir, but his match-winning century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final prompted the selectors to draft him as an additional member of the side.
Meanwhile, the North Zone team on Saturday left for Guwahati and the two senior-most players Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh are expected to join the team on Sunday.

Unmukt wasn\'t a part of the original 15-member squad, but his match-winning century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final prompted the selectors to draft him in the squad.
North will take on Suresh Raina-led Central Zone in the first semi-final on Monday.
