Lucknow: Polling for Lucknow Municipal Corporation in the three-tier urban local body elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held on Saturday.
Besides the Lucknow Municipal Corporation, polling will also be held for eight nagar panchayats in the district, sources in the State Election Commission said.
More than 22.47 lakh RPT lakh voters are expected to cast their ballotsfor the Lucknow Municipal Corporation and eight nagar panchayats on Saturday.

Voters will decide the the fate of 12 candidates for the post of mayor and 1,679 candidates for 110 wards of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation.
Polling booths will remain open from 7 AM to 6 PM. Polling will also be held for eight posts of nagar panchayat chairmen and 87 posts of corporators.
In Lucknow, 230 polling centres have been identified as sensitive and 278 as super sensitive. Polling in Lucknow was initially scheduled to be held on June 24, but due to various competitive examinations it was preponed by a day.
