Head constable Shyampal, who is related to the victim, picked her up from Bhajanpura on the pretext of recording her statement in a police case.
He then took her to the Sahibabad police station and allegedly raped her
A medical examination conducted confirms rape.
Shyampal has been suspended and a case has been registered at Sahibabad police station last night, he said.
SSP L Ravikumar has also issued an arrest warrant against accused Shyampal.
