Greater Noida: A 40-year-old woman was allegedly burnt to death by her husband and in-laws over dowry demands in Jarcha area near Greater Noida on Saturday, police said. The victim, identified as Beena, a resident of Rasulpur village was set on fire by her husband Satish and in-laws after she failed to fulfill their dowry demands, they said, adding the victim died on the spot.
A complaint was lodged against the accused by the victim's father, Chand Sharma, following which Satish and two other members of the family were booked.
Further probes are on into the case, they added.
