Addressing a rally in Gorakhpur on Monday, Mayawati reportedly said opposition parties were using their "pet dogs" for spoiling her programme after a woman attempted to enter the security area.

In the midst of Mayawati's speech, a woman in the crowd tried to enter the security area before the stage.

When stopped by security personnel, the woman started shouting but was handed over to the police.

"Worried, they are sending their pet dogs to disturb our public meetings. You people need not get distracted from such tactics," Mayawati had reportedly said.
