Bareilly: In another incident of crime against police in Uttar Pradesh, a team of policemen in Bareilly was attacked by a group of 15-20 men. The police were trying to make an arrest in a robbery case when the incident happened.
The team was fired upon while arresting a history-sheeter, leaving one constable injured. On Sunday, a Deputy Superintendent of Police died in clashes that broke out between the villagers and police in Cabinet minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya's constituency Kunda.
The police has registered a case against Raja Bhaiya under sections of murder and attempt to murder.
