Ranchi: The new government in Jharkhand under Chief Minister designate Madhu Koda will be sworn in on Monday and will have to take a floor test a week later.
But even before the ministerial berths are decided, UPA heavyweights have begun demanding a reversal of the previous NDA government's policies and decisions.
In Madhu Koda's words, "Those found guilty will not be spared at any cost."
These words of warning were issued from the Chief Minister designate even before the UPA formally assumed power in Jharkhand.
Madhu Koda it seems is all set to to take on his political adversaries and giving him support is his new godfather in politics is RJD supremo Lalu Prasad.
"We will reopen old files and see what wrongs the previous government has done," says Lalu Prasad.
There are demands from the UPA allies that all major decisions taken by outgoing Chief Minister Arjun Munda be put under the scanner. This includes the 42 MoUs signed by Munda with various investers.
"All these MOUs will have to be examined," says CPILM General Secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya.
The politics of vendetta has only just begun. Even minor leaders of different UPA constituents have a hit-list. Politics in Jharkhand have troubled times ahead.
