New Delhi: Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright says that the US and India have a common interest in dealing with terrorism.

"I think it's a very good sign that somebody that is a terrorist in one country could in effect be also a threat to some other country and therefore whatever cooperation we have is usually done for national interest reasons, but the bottom line is that our national interests do in fact converge, so I think its a very important sign," Madeleine Albright told CNN-IBN's Suhasini Haidar in an exclusive interview.

"You mentioned about the cooperation now between Saudi Arabia and what happened here, I think that’s part of a general approach that President Obama has pushed in terms of understanding our necessary cooperation," said Madeleine.
