Dutch player Jeroen Hertzberg drew first blood for the hosts in the 47th minute before skipper V. Raghunath scored off a penalty corner in the 60th minute for the final goal of the game.
Uttar Pradesh Wizards displaced Delhi Waveriders from the top of the standings. Both teams have earned 12 points from three matches but Uttar Pradesh are ahead on goal difference. Struggling teams Mumbai Magicians and Jaypee Punjab Warriors face each other later in the day.
