Gangotri: Rains continued to wreak havoc in Uttarakhand for the fourth day on Tuesday as 80 tourists were stuck between Bhatwari and Sukitop after a bridge collapsed. The tourists were stuck without any phone network or essential supplies.
The administration didn't have any information about it. The minister in-charge assured help after CNN-IBN informed the authorities. The place is 10 km from Gangotri and there is no way to reach there.
Rains in Uttarakhand led to cloud bursts and landslides. The death toll has reached 34. Seventy villages remain cut off from the Uttarkashi district headquarters. An estimated 20,000 people have been affected.
