UTV Motion Pictures is all set to make a biopic on him and the film will be directed by Soojit Sircar.
Kishore's family is more than excited about it and will be involved in the making of the film.
Kishore's son Sumeet Kumar said, “We really liked the way UTV approached us. People should know how he was.”
The announcement came on the legend's 79th birth anniversary.at a special event organised by his family to celebrate his birthday.
Kishore's wife Leena Chandravarkar said that he was like a child and loved to visit relatives and enjoyed local delicacies like poori bhaji.
It will be quite a difficult task for the filmmakers to capture him through their lenses and rather tough for the actor who portrays him.
Asked whether they had an idea as to who would portray the role of Kishore, the family members said that it would all depend on what UTV people to decided that.
They also said that the UTV crew members said that it would be a big star.
While it is still unknown as to who would be doing the lead role, Hindi cinema lovers would be quite anxious to know that Kishore Kumar will light up the silverscreen once again.
