Chennai: Veteran southern music composer MS Vishwanathan, popularly known as MSV, has crooned a song after 11 years for upcoming Tamil drama 'Neelam' and the film's director is ecstatic.
His last song was 'Vidai Kodu Engal Naadae' for 2002 Tamil film 'Kannathil Muthamittal'.
"It's an unforgettable moment in my life. I would treasure this moment for years since working with a legend like MSV sir is like a dream come true," director G Venkatesh Kumar told IANS.
"The song is called 'Alayae o Alayae' and it was recorded recently in the supervision of music composer Satish Chakravarthy", he added.
The film, based on the life of a fisherman, stars Kishore Sree, Pavithra, Esha, Jagan and Vijay Kumar in the lead roles. It is coming out in the summer of 2013.
Renuka of Blue Waves Entertainment has produced the film, which has cinematography by S Ramalingam.
The 84 year old has composed music for over 500 Tamil films in a career spanning over five decades.
