The BSP, which was part of the Third Front in the Lok Sabha elections, has announced unconditional outside support of its 21 MPs to the Congress-led UPA government. Not long ago, the Mayawati-led BSP had pitched itself as part of the Third Front, projecting itself as a national alternative to the Congress. Can the Congress trust Mayawati who is known for her shifting loyalties?
