Vijay starrer 'Thupaki' to be released on Diwali

With a firm hope that the legal hurdle before 'Thupaki' would end soon, its makers are planning to release the movie on Diwali.

Starring Vijay in the lead, 'Thupaki' directed by AR Murugadoss is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine, while music is by Harris Jayaraj. Originally it was planned to release the movie by August or September. However, the plan had to be shelved since a case against the movie was pending before the court.

"Those behind the project are hopeful that the legal issue would be resolved soon. They are now eyeing on Diwali to release the movie," sources said.

Starring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, \'Thupaki\' is directed by AR Murugadoss.
