MADURAI: DMK treasurer M K Stalin and DMDK fou-nder Vijayakant met each other Madurai Airport here on Sunday evening. The leaders got a chance to meet when they were waiting to board a flight to Chennai. They talked for nearly half-an-hour as the flight got delayed, sources said.
Stalin reached the airport after holding interview to select party youth wing office bearers in Virudhunagar. Vijayakant had come to attend a party functionary’s marriage in Virudhunagar. It was not clear what the leaders discussed during their meeting, the sources said. The meeting assumes significance in the aftermath of AIADMK snapping its ties with Vijayakant’s party.
