Vijaykanth announces first DMDK list

Chennai: Actor-politician Vijaykanth on Thursday announced the first list of nine candidates of his DMDK for the Lok Sabha elections.

"Our party will prove to the Tamil masses that the DMDK is a power to reckon with in this state. We will appeal to our supporters to wholeheartedly work for their victory," Vijaykanth said before leaving for Kanyakumari to begin his campaign.

Tamil Nadu will witness elections for its 39 Lok Sabha seats on May 13.
