New Delhi: Vijender Singh continued his great run at the World Boxing Championship in Milan when the top seed in the 75 kg category made it into the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
Vijender defeated Steve Rolls of Canada 4:2 in the pre-quarter-finals to enter the last eight of World Boxing Championship.
Earlier, another Indian boxer Dinesh Kumar secured his place in the last eight when he defeated Bejenaru Constantin of Romania in the 81 kg category bout.
Kumar will face Russia's Beterbiev Artur, who defeated Kamara Babacar of Sweden in the pre-quarter-final.
But in the 60 kg category Jai Bhagwan of India lost to Burhard Eugen of Germany.
