Mumbai: Director Vikram Bhatt is going back to the horror genre of films and his new horror film is set in the 1920s, appropriately titled 1920. The film will introduce two newcomers, well known model Rajneesh Duggal and Ada Sharma.
"It's a very new attempt. It's a supernatural film and is set in the 1920's. It starts in Rajasthan, then goes to Bombay, to Delhi and then to the Himalayas. We have tried to recreate all these places in 1920. It's a love story and it's a spooky story," says Vikram.
Recently Vikram Bhatt has not had very good luck at the box office as his last 10 films flopped consecutively. But without worrying much about the past, Vikram is busy shooting his new film and from the sets of the film, it looks like the director is going back to his Raaz days.
"At the end of the day, what matters is whether you were telling a good story or a bad story. And I don't have a problem accepting the facts, I'm not one of those filmmakers who feels that the audience have failed and I haven't failed. I don't believe in that kind of nonsense, if the film has not done well, then I have failed," adds the filmmaker.
The film is still in the shooting stage and the rumour mill is abuzz about Ada being the new girl in Vikram's life after the break-up with his girlfriend Amisha Patel.
Ada denied the rumors when she was asked saying, "No, absolutely not, whether the media takes it sadly or happily, it's not true".
The young actress has already learnt the ways of Bollywood to deal with rumours.
