Mumbai: The makers of an upcoming thriller Speed kicked off the promotions of their film at a clothes store in Mumbai. We are still wondering why was the venue so different.
Speed has not one or two but eight actors in eight parallel tracks. Though only Zayed Khan, Aftab Shivdasani were seen at this promotion event.
"Its the kind of film where you take popcorn, Pepsi and chill and enjoy the pace of the film,” said Zayed.
Aftab added, “It has eight parallel tracks running where sometimes, the story coincides with each track.”
One look at the promos of Speed, and you can make out, if not the whole film at least the plot is lifted from the Hollywood flick Cellular. Trust Vikram Bhatt to lift Hollywood plots.
But when you ask him if it's a remake or a copy, he said, “The producers got me the script which I just decided to make into a film.”
Apart from actors who made it at this event, you will also see Urmila Matondkar, Tanushree Dutta and Amrita Arora in the film. The soundtrack of Speed has been composed by Pritam and the film releases across theatres on October 19.
