Earlier it was reported that Vikram's 'Thaandavam' will throw light on echolocation and the actor is playing a visually challenged man in the movie directed by A L Vijay.
And now, Vikram himself has confirmed it. "I underwent special training from Daniel Kish, an internationally renowned expert of human echolocation. I consider myself proud to get trained under him," he says.
Human echolocation is an odd phenomenon in few blind people, through which they can detect objects by sensing the echoes.

Vikram underwent special training from Daniel Kish, an internationally renowned expert of human echolocation.
Playing a visually challenged man is nothing new for Vikram, who had played one already in 'Kasi'. "But this one is totally different from 'Kasi'. The genres of 'Kasi' and 'Thaandavam' are entirely different," he says.
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, 'Thaandavam' has Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai as leading ladies. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar.
