Vinod Kumar wins Tata Open Golf

Jamshedpur: Delhi's Vinod Kumar emerged champion of the 10th Tata Open Golf at Beldih golf course here on Sunday.

Kumar produced three under 68 in the fourth round totalling eight under 276 (68-76-64-68) to earn the prize money of Rs 8,08,250.

Vivek Bhandari (70-65-73-69) and former Asia No 1 Jyoti Randhawa (71-65-68-73) tied at seven under 277 to be richer by Rs 4,35,750 each. While Bhandari scored two under 69 in the final round, Randhawa produced two over 73.

Colombo-based Mithun Perera (69-69-69-71), who scored two under 69 on on Sunday, totalled six under 278 for the fourth place.
