Mumbai: It was a walk down memory lane for legendary actress Waheeda Rehman on Tuesday as she stepped out of a screening of her evergreen classic Guide.
Waheeda was in Mumbai to receive the honour for outstanding contribution to Indian cinema by the Taj Mahal Enlighten Film Society.
When it comes to Guide, the veteran actress has plenty of memories of the film
"I remember when there was a trial show, Dev Anand told me, everyone is talking only about Rosy. I'm the producer, I'm the hero but everyone is talking about the heroine, mujhe gussa aa raha hain (I am angry),” she said.
The actress also has a say on wish list of which actress would best suit the role of Rosy if it were to be remade.
"Madhuri Dixit, because she dances and acts well,” he said.
After having done Rang De Basanti three years ago, Waheeda will back on the big screen in Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's Dilli 6 early next year.
