Mumbai: On Friday evening actors Kajol, Neha Dhupia, Rahul Bose, Shiney Ahuja and Diana Hayden cheered on the Shiksha Walkathon an initiative by P&G in association with CRY.

The celebs walked for 200 metres on Carter Road in Mumbai to raise awareness around children's right to education. Walking amongst the kids were also Slumdog Millionaire child stars Ayush and Madhur Mittal.

And at the press conference earlier that evening the celebrities couldn't stop themselves for expressing their feelings on the importance of education.

"Every child, every person has a right to education and I am here to support them all," said Kajol.

"All the crime happens due to the lack of education so educating children is the basic right they deserve," said Rahul Bose.

"When suddenly I wake up and think why did the 26/11 happen to us, it is because of the lack of education, we don't know who to vote for and the parties go around buying votes. So I am so happy that P&G has taken this initiative with CRY, I'm thrilled to be here," said Tisca.

Well, after seeing so many celebrities walking the ramp at numerous fashion weeks this season, it was a refreshing change to see them walk for a cause.
