Wall collapses in Bangalore, 6 labourers dead

Bangalore: At least six people have been killed and six others injured when a 30-feet high wall collapsed at a construction site in Bangalore. The incident happened at BK Palya near Bannerghatta Road of Bangalore on Wednesday afternoon.

All those killed and injured are labourers from Bihar. Bangalore Police say some people could still be trapped under the rubble and rescue and relief operation is on.

Earlier on Wednesday morning two people were injured when a wall collapsed at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The incident happened after ticket sales for World Cup matches started at the Chepauk Stadium.
