Want to focus on movies not politics: Sanjay

Actor Sanjay Dutt has done various kinds of roles. From Rocky to Khalnayak to Munna Bhai, he has done almost all kinds of possible roles. His next release is Blue, a film made at a whopping budget of Rs 100 crore.

CNN-IBN's Rohit Khilnani talked to Sanjay about his upcoming films and his future plans in politics.

Here is an excerpt of the interview -

CNN-IBN: Did you end up teaching Lara some scuba diving?

Sanjay Dutt: No, no. Hats off to her because she had put in a lot of effort to learn swimming and scuba diving.

CNN-IBN: We are told that Blue is one of the most expensive movies ever made, so does that put pressure on actors like you because you guys are the selling points of the film?

Sanjay Dutt: No, because it ultimately depends on how the movie does. But still I would say that whatever the outcome of the movie might be as an actor I think it was a brilliant experience to do this film. It is good to do films with people you share a bond with.

CNN-IBN: You are the General Secretary of Samajwadi Party but later do you want to be something in politics?

Sanjay Dutt: Well, it is a very important and big post given to me. So, let us see what's kept for me in future but cinema is my first love. I really want to work and do some great movies.

CNN-IBN: We have heard that you call Amar Singh as your elder brother. How is he doing health wise?

Sanjay Dutt: He is doing very well. God has been kind to him and he is soon going to be back home soon.
