New Delhi: What's in a name we say, but that is exactly what has led the Warner Brothers to sue Mirchi Movies for their forthcoming film titled Hari Puttar, a witty indigenous take on the multi-billion Harry Potter
The Hollywood studio thinks that the title sounds very similar to their multi-billion brand and have dragged the producers of this Hindi film to Court .
Warner Brothers holds the license to the Harry Potter movies.
Though Hari Puttar starring child actor Zain Khan, Sarika and Jackie Shroff does not bear any resemblance to the Harry Potter series and does not deal with wizards, the similarity of the title could land the film's scheduled release date of September 12 in trouble.
The Delhi High Court is expected to give its verdict on September 2.
The decision could very well be a landmark judgement as far as copyright issues in India are concerned.
