New Delhi: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has a penchant for acting. He will soon be seen in British director Michael Winterbottom's film 'Trishna' that is having a limited release on July 13 in USA. He will be seen as a filmmaker in the film.
Anurag's wife and actor Kalki Koechlin will also be seen in the film. Not only this, music composer Amit Trivedi is also doing an important cameo in the film.
'Trishna' is based on Thomas Hardy's classic novel 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles'. Though the original story is set in Britain but the director has set his version in India. The shooting for the film has taken place at various locations in Jaipur and Mumbai.
Freida Pinto is playing the lead role in the film who falls in love with a rich businessman Jay Singh (Riz Ahmed).
