Watch: The making of the new IPL team SunRisers Hyderabad's anthem

New Delhi: The IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad have unveiled their official anthem through a video which features cricketers and cricket fans against the backdrop of the early morning sun. The video also reveals the new team logo, and the tagline 'Rise Up To Every Challenge'.

Sun TV Network bought the new Hyderabad franchisee after Deccan Chargers were terminated by the BCCI in 2012.

Sunrisers appointed Australian Tom Moody as coach and former India batsman Kris Srikkanth as their mentor, while VVS Laxman is their mentor-ambassador. They also roped in Waqar Younis as their bowling coach for the 6th edition of the IPL.

The video is composed by Swarathma The Band, and directed by Rajesh Thomas and Vidya Sharma.

The team is likely to be captained by Kumar Sangakkara, and includes other notable international cricketers like Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma and JP Duminy.
