New Delhi: Academy award winner Meryl Streep will be next seen in The Iron Lady. It is a biographical film about former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Actor Jim Broadbent will be seen playing Thatcher's husband, Denis Thatcher in the film. Anthony Head and Richard E Grant are also a part of the film.

The Iron Lady will be take the audience through a lot of flashbacks. It will also include the 17 days leading up to the 1982, Falklands War.

Filming of The Iron Lady began in January 2011. Meryl Streep worked really hard to prepare for the role. She also attended a session at the House of Commons in Jan 2011. Meryl paid attention to every small detail for the onscreen portrayal of Margaret Thatcher. Right from her wig, make up, dresses and the way she talks is quite impressive.

In an interview lately Streep confessed that she did not agree with many of Thatcher's policies. However, Streep was secretly thrilled that a woman had made it to the top.

The film is all set for release; let's see whether it earns accolades or criticism from viewers.
