'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' is an upcoming romantic comedy starring Ranveer Singh as a conman.

'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

It is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

The film stars Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.

It marks the debut of Priyanka Chopra's cousin Parineeti Chopra.

The Ranveer-Anushka pair will be seen together after 'Band Baaja Baraat'.

The film is set to be released on December 23, 2011.

The film is a romantic comedy where the suave and charming Ricky Bahl (Ranveer Singh), cons girls for a living but finally manages to meet his match, which will be played by Anushka Sharma.

Ranveer seems to have beefed up for 'Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl'.

The first look of the film shows him flaunting his six-pack abs.

The poster shows Ranveer posing shirtless with a toned up physique.

The poster tagline reads - Ladies Beware! Ricky Bahl is coming.

Ranveer's last film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' was a big hit.

Model-turned-actress Dipannita Sharma also stars in 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl'.

After completing the Goa schedule of the Yash Raj Films' production, Dipannita has already started shooting for the Mumbai schedule with Ranveer.

If sources are to be believed, the actress is quite punctual on the sets and is almost always the first one to get ready. Now that's being quite a professional girl!

After the grand success of his directorial debut Band Baaja Baaraat, director Maneesh Sharma has teamed up again with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma for Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and says the script demanded their presence.

The director said they were cast on the basis of script, not because they have worked together.

The characters in LVRB are very interesting, very different from Bittu and Shruti of BBB.

Ranveer gets a suave look in the film, one of his many.

Most of the Band Baaja Baaraat members are back in the film.

The music director is Salim-Suleiman.

The genre, the flavour, the character are nothing close to Band Baaja Baaraat.

Sharma says he was not involved in the writing part of the script.

It's Aditya Chopra's story.

Devika Bhagat has written the screenplay.

Habib Faizal has written the dialogue.

The director says there is a lot of expectation from him after the success of Band Baaja Baaraat.

Ranveer plays seven roles in 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl'.

Ranveer said in an interview he had sleepless nights trying to get into the skin of the various characters.

Each character is very different from the other.

This film unravels in four chapters, Ranveer says.

The first song from the film is 'Aadat se majboor'.

This is Sharma's second YRF project.

In Band Baaja Baaraat Ranveer portrayed a typical Delhi guy called Bittoo Sharma.

He won the Best Male Debut award at the 56th Filmfare Awards.

Anushka Sharma made her screen debut in Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

She received acclaim for her role as Shruti Kakkar in Band Baaja Baaraat.

Both films fetched her a Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare Awards ceremony.

Her second film was Badmaash Company, also under Yash Raj Films.

Anushka played a middle-class girl who launches her own independent business of wedding planning.

She also appeared in Patiala House, with Nikhil Advani and Akshay Kumar.
