Eye-witnesses say that the girl who was sitting in a restaurant with a male friend when someone alleged that she had stolen something from the restaurant. The restaurant owner allegedly handed her over to the mob on the street, which molested her in full public view for more than 20 minutes. Not a single person tried to stop what was happening in the middle of the road. Opposition parties in the state are now up in arms.
