WB: 12 Puri pilgrims die as bus, oil tanker collide

West Midnapore: A bus carrying Puri pilgrims collided with an oil tanker at Asari on National Highway 6 in West Bengal's West Midnapore district on Thursday night.

As many as 12 people were killed and 14 injured in the accident.

The dead included eight women and a child.

The victims were on their way from Haldia to Puri. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
