WB: Bus passenger dies after being hit by stone thrown from outside

Barasat (WB): An elderly man was killed when an unknown person threw a stone at a running bus at Nagrebazar in the northern metropolis, the police said on Tuesday.

Pulak Banerjee died in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on late Monday night after being admitted with serious head injury, the police said.

Banerjee was going home from Science City in a bus of route 202 and the incident happened when the unknown man threw the stone towards the speeding bus, sources said.

Pulak Banerjee, an elderly man was killed when an unknown person threw a stone at a running bus near Kolkata.

The cause of the person's throwing stone at the bus is unclear and nobody was arrested till now, the police said.
