Kolkata: Union Minister Jairam Ramesh and top leaders of the West Bengal Congress will take out a rally in Maoist-infested Lalgarh on Saturday. The rally comes ahead of the Panchayat elections in the region.
The Union ministers are expected to highlight Centre's role in providing better civic amenities to the people of the area.
West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee will also be Jangmahal on Saturday, but is unlikely to address the public.
