WB panchayat poll: Trinamool-CPM supporters clash; 4 injured

Tamluk (WB): Four persons were injured in a poll related clash between supporters of ruling Trinamool Congress and opposition CPI(M) at Bakcha in East Midnapore police station on Monday, the police said.

The clash occurred in the village under Mayna police station over campaigning for the upcoming panchayat poll. Three of the injured persons were CPI(M) supporters, the sources said one of them was brought to a Kolkata hospital as his condition was serious.

The fourth injured person belonged to the Trinamool Congress. None was arrested, the sources said.
