New Delhi: A 35-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by 15-16 men in the City Centre area of Durgapur in Burdwan district on Sunday night. The incident happened when the woman was returning from work. The police said that her husband, who was accompanying her, was beaten up by the criminals.
No arrests have been made so far.
The woman has filed an FIR and undergone medical tests at the sub-divisional hospital of Durgapur. She works at a diagnostic clinic in Asansol.
