Jaipur: After flags from the Pink City for Soccer fans, it's now Jaipur's Kawa Brass Band that's all set to dole out Indian tunes at the FIFA World Cup.

The band will perform at Munich on Wednesday night, during the semi finals between France and Portugal.

Amid the cheer for the all the great footballers at the world cup, Jaipur's Kawa Brass Band is ready with the right numbers to match the spirit of the beautiful game.

And for the football freaks witnessing the action live in Germany, the music has got to be bold and brassy.

"Today we are going but one day maybe football team will go to play there, because physique we need for the sport and music is the language for the soul and if they come together, one day it will happen," says the proud Music Director of Kawa Brass Band, Hameed Khan Kawa.

The band isn't the only way the Pink City is making its presence felt at the world cup, Jaipur has already sent consignments of flags of five participating countries to Germany.

While the football fans can wave the flags and feast on the folk tunes, the Kawa percussionists too are looking to sample the soccer mania first hand.

"While playing the band, we will pray that France wins; that's our favourite team," Kawa Brass Band Percussionist Aamir said.

So when you watch the game between France and Portugal, keep an eye out for a little piece of India in Munich.
