Media Quest: Why Sania did not smile in reception?

We aren\'t here to make money: Shoaib, Sania

Shoaib and Sania spoke as a happily married couple denying any sale of rights for their reception.

Sania: I think the media is making it an issue because they do not have anything much to say right now. It's not a big deal. I am in my husband's country, so naturally I am happy. I can understand that the people here are very excited. Obviously one cannot expect me to smile when being mobbed by people. He was trying to shield me (during reception), I did not know where my mother was. That is when media got the opportunity to take my video. Naturally in such an orderless and chaotic situation, one cannot smile.

Quest: Did you try to sell rights of your marriage reception?

Shoaib: We got offers but we thought we would not give rights to anybody because I feel it is not a good way of earning money. There are other ways of making money. I feel like laughing at news reports that (invitation) cards were sold.
