Wear it the Devil Wears Prada way!

Mumbai: In the world of fashion, if you aren't with it, you might as well be dead. So let’s see what the super-hit fashion flick Devil Wears Prada has to offer.

Based on a book written by the former assistant of notoriously temperamental Vogue editor Anna Wintour, the film has the evergreen Meryl Streep playing an Anna Wintour-like character.

She’s Miranda Priestly, who makes impossible demands of her assistant Andrea Sachs played by the effervescent Anne Hathaway. And why not? After all, as Andrea is told repeatedly in the film, "A million girls would die for your job!"

What I love is that Streep is just so deliciously bitchy! “And clearly you have no taste for fashion,” she tells Andrea ruthlessly in the movie.

Every insight into the tempestuous fashion world is fairly accurate but if you've read the book and are expecting a showdown in the end - well, it doesn't come.

I love fashion and therefore one line to remember in this film is, “This billion dollar business is about inner beauty!” Well said!
