Mumbai: It was a fashionable late start to the Grand Finale of Lakme Fashion Week, but it was well worth the wait.
Designer Wendell Rodericks showcased his Spring-Summer collection with his signature style — a hint of tropical island paradise.
His work was like a classic cocktail — deceptively simple yet something that only a few people can get right. There was nothing radically new in his collection but it was still the kind of clothes people simply wanted to pick straight off the ramp.

Adds her sister and actress Amrita Arora, "He's a very dear friend. Apart from that, his clothes always do justice to a grand finale."
