Kolkata: Sixty-five girls studying in a private madrasa in West Bengal have fallen ill allegedly after consuming a free mid-day meal. The incident took place at the Sitakund Madrasa in South 24 Parganas.
The students were admitted to a sub-divisional hospital for treatment and most of them have now been discharged.
The police are yet to take any action.
