West Bengal: Boy allegedly rapes class 9 student, girl hangs self

Bankura: A class 9 student hanged herself in Bankura district of West Bengal on Thursday. She also left behind a note in which she blamed a boy of sexual harassment.

In the note, the girl alleged that the boy attempted to rape her. The girl has also allegedly demanded that the boy is punished.

The father of the girl has lodged an FIR at the Simlapal police station. The boy is absconding.

The girl has also allegedly demanded in a suicide note that the boy is punished.
