New Delhi: After the wild success of his fiction - Five Point Someone, One Night @ the Call Center, The 3 Mistakes of my Life, 2 States and Revolution 2020 - popular author Chetan Bhagat will try his hand at non-fiction for the first time with the title 'What Young India Wants'.
In his upcoming paperback, which is available for pre-order at the online shopping portal Flipkart.com, Bhagat analyses "some of the complex issues facing modern India and asks hard questions, demands answers and presents solutions for a better, more prosperous India."
"Why do our students regularly commit suicide? Why is there so much corruption in India? Can't our political parties ever work together? Does our vote make any difference at all? We love our India, but shouldn't some things be different?" are some of the question Bhagat attempts to tackle in the book.

'What Young India Wants', priced at Rs 98 and brought out by Rupa Publications, is said to be based on Bhagat's vast experience as a very successful writer and motivational speaker.
"At the end, he asks this important question: Unless we are all in agreement on what it is going to take to make our country better, how will things ever change? If you want to understand contemporary India, the problems that face it, and want to be a part of the solution, 'What Young India Wants' is the book for you," according to the description on the portal.
Bhagat is the author of five novels, all of which have gone on to become bestsellers. They have also been adapted into major Bollywood films. Bhagat is a motivational speaker and columnist. He was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine.
